Soup Of The Day

Your Price: $20.00

This skit or one act play, (good for VALENTINE'S DAY) is about marriage relationships. The scene takes place in a restaurant and there are 3 tables. The center table is back a ways and an older couple are sitting there observing the couples at the other tables. A young couple sit at one, and a middle aged couple with 2 teenagers at the other. Humorous arguments and bickering go on and the older couple discuss how alike or different they are from the other couples. Finally, they begin to tell each other how they could not have imagined being with anyone else for all these years. There is mention of the importance of making Christ the center of your marriage.

3 couples and 2 teens. About 15 minutes.

Visitor From Hell

Your Price: $10.00

This is a sketch written to be scary and dramatic.  Toby is a young man who arrives at school after being at a wild party the night before.   He learns that his best friend, Scott was killed on the way home from the party.  Left all alone in the classroom with his thoughts, Toby discovers a computer on and begins receiving a message from beyond the grave.  Suddenly Scott appears in the room and tells him of the horrors he is experiencing and wants to know why he didn't tell him about Jesus.   I do not condone conversing with the dead; this is simply a fantasy, and at the end, we learn it was all a dream.   The excerpt is taken from the middle of the drama.

8 actors.  Written as 4-6 males and 2-4 females.   Genders may vary.   Approx. 12-13 mins.
Save Me

Your Price: $20.00

This is a crazy sketch about a bunch of super heroes trying to save the world from a hidden bomb.  Jesus enters the scene and watches and waits till the right time to make himself known and save all of them from destruction.  Meanwhile, one after another enter and try to come up with a plan to save the world.  Each character is based on a famous super hero and everything is played for laughs.  You have Superduperman, Ratman, and Beetleman, to name a few.

Cast of 12.  (6 males, 6 females) Gender may vary.   About 10-12 mins.
Shopping For Baby Jesus

Your Price: $15.00

Frank and Edith are at it again! This time they are trying to keep out of the whole Christmas scene at church, but they get asked to do stuff anyway. They agree, but only because they don't want to look bad. Edith is supposed to find a baby Jesus for the manger scene, and Frank is to read something at the end of the program. What he reads is the truth of why Jesus came and for a second you think it got through to them both. But not these two... one beat later... they are right back on their own hypocritical soap box. We laugh at them because it rings so true, and sometimes it rings a little too close to home.

One couple. About 10 mins.

Gillian's Island

Your Price: $10.00

This is a humorous sketch about having our anchor in Christ, otherwise we could drift and become shipwrecked in our faith.  It is obviously a rip-off of a popular TV show from the 60's.  Two gals, Pepper and Carrie Anne have met and are taking a short cruise around Catalina Island with a female skipper.  But the skipper gets  off the boat to gas up and the girls fall asleep to wake up and find that they have drifted way out to sea.  Pepper is played over the top as a dumb actress and they deal with possible sharks and rocks and the fear of shipwreck.  Even though they cry out to God in prayer... they find themselves at the end on an island where someone named Gillian is also stranded.    There are sequels that you can get to follow this sketch, parts 2 and 3.  Or if you want all three, go to the general Christian script category and scroll till you find "Gillian's Island - The Play".    You save a little money by buying the play rather than the three skits.

3 females plus one extra.   About 12-13 min.    (the part of Skippie could be played as a male)
Gillian's Island 2

Your Price: $10.00

This is a sequel to Gillian's Island, obviously.   If you want to continue the story, the girls from the first sketch have arrived on the beach of a deserted island only to find that there are other people already shipwrecked there.  The characters are loosely based on the TV sitcom of the 60's.   Carrie Ann is the Christian and she tries to be helpful as she runs up against a very disagreeable rich man who doesn't want more mouths to feed.  Pepper is the ditzy actress who usually has the comedy lines.   The actress and the billionaire are a lot more fun if you play them just like the characters from the old show.   There are sequels (one before and one after) that you can get to go with this sketch, parts 1 and 3.  Or if you want all three, go to the general Christian script category and scroll till you find "Gillian's Island - The Play".    You save a little money by buying the play rather than the three skits.

Six actors  (written as 2 male and 4 female)  About 15 mins.
Gillian's Island 3

Your Price: $10.00

In this part 3 sequel, the castaways are rescued... only to end up in a big storm that threatens their very lives.  There is still a lot of humor as this one gets more serious toward the end.  Skippie arrives with her dad (Skippie could be a male) and they find everyone asleep.   They have to wake them up and get them on Skippie's boat.   With Gillian sleepwalking and everyone out cold because of what they ate... it is comical.  The second half is the storm and the passengers begin to talk about life and death and what is important.  Carrie Ann boldly shares the gospel and prays for their deliverance.  It seems as if some of them are having a changed heart once they are safely through the storm.    There are prequels that you can get to precede this sketch, parts 1 and 2.  Or if you want all three, go to the general Christian script category and scroll till you find "Gillian's Island - The Play".    You save a little money by buying the play rather than the three skits.

8 actors (written as 3 male and 5 female)  About 15 mins.
Count All My Blessings

Your Price: $15.00

This short drama is about taking the time to count your blessings and be thankful for what you have.  A window clerk at the post office hears one sad story after another that makes her think twice about her own complaints.   The humor comes from the actress playing the clerk, as she hears the stories, she begins to become emotional and then loses control of her emotions when she hears the fifth story.  The point is clearly made... and you can go out with a laugh as this poor woman loses it.

6 actresses.  (Some of the parts can be easily re-written to be male)   About 10-12 mins.
Lipstick

Your Price: $10.00

Loose lips sink ships, as they say.   This sketch is about speaking out of turn and how easily something shared becomes gossip.  Marguerite is giving free make-up demonstrations and two ladies from church come to get their faces done.  Personal things get shared and what should be sad is actually funny.  You see, Marguerite is foreign and she doesn't always understand what is being said and often gets things wrong.  Sometimes humor is the best way to get the point across.  Liver spots on a mother's hands become spots on her own liver and they begin to talk about her death.  A lip injection is mistaken to be a liposuction.  You will have fun teaching this important lesson and get made over at the same time.  This is similar to the sketch "Lip Service".

3 actresses.  About 14-15 mins.
Resurrection Rabbit

Your Price: $15.00

In this EASTER skit, Mikey is having his annual Easter Egg hunt at his place and all his friends have come. But Mikey is focused too much on the Easter Bunny and gets into a discussion with one of the other kids on what Easter is really about. Then Mikey falls asleep and in his dream, the Easter Bunny comes and tells him that he is now saved and has changed his name to Resurrection Rabbit. He explains the true meaning of Easter, and tells the kids that instead of passing out candy, he now just tells people about Jesus. The salvation message is very clear.

6 child actors (boys or girls, it doesn't matter) and one teen or adult playing the bunny. About 10-12 minutes.

Thankful For Ice Cream

Your Price: $15.00

This THANKSGIVING DAY skit will also work for anytime, but the story begins as siblings, Jason and Tori are complaining about what Mom is fixing for Thanksgiving dinner. The setting then switches to a couple of homeless kids who just had a meal at a shelter and were very thankful. The story goes back and forth with ungrateful kids with nice clothes, and then the opposite response when a missionary kid, Adam passes out stuff to kids in a poor country. Adam comes back home and shares with the American kids what he learned about being grateful for what we have.

16 children (mixed) 10 minutes.

Will Finnigan Be Saved?

Your Price: $5.00

Here is a skit that's just for fun.   You will probably recognize characters and situations that remind you of a popular TV show in the 60's.  Several people are stranded on an island and some strangers crash their plane and leave a Bible behind.  Finnigan is the one who sees them and finds the Bible.  You can play the characters for laughs by overacting and trying to be like the characters from the TV show.  Each of them find passages in the scriptures that talk about being saved.

9 actors (6 males, 3 females)  a couple of extras.  Some of the genders could be switched.   About 10 mins.
